Historic Kenwood, St. Pete | FL Woodsy
This inspiring client had a dream for a long time to create a genuine Florida woodsy escape, mirroring inspiration from parks like Weedon Island. Thus we highlighted ferns, natural limestone rock, native grasses, and groundcover, and cleaned up the canopies to make way for new growth beneath.
Field Trip |
During our inspiration session, we took a field trip to Weedon Island to fully understand the client’s desires. We toured through the depths, and swamps of the land. Moss, grasses, groundcover, and nutsedges impressed him, and those were key elements included in the final results.
Implementation |
We worked around some of the original structures of the property. It was a double-sized property of St Pete., and already had many of the key elements that the client enjoys. Stepping stones were kept and added, and ferns were shaped for more trail views for you to walk and your eyes to follow.
