Historic Kenwood, St. Pete | Food & Flora
A front yard raised garden integrated with an in-ground functional food forest and Florida native plants.
In 2020 we transformed this 1960s home into a stunning modern farmhouse. By updating the paint colors, columns, and porch, we added welcoming charm and increased neighborhood value. This property was Sara's first home, and she always dreamed of creating a space that would benefit wildlife, her family, and her neighbors.

EDUCATIONAL SPACE
Sara envisioned this space as an educational workshop for neighbors and children interested in growing their own food.
She invited a locally renowned herbalist - Dr. Lind to her home, organizing a group tour of her property and neighborhood to explore the common herbs that naturally grow in the area.
Additionally, she conducted a composting workshop and opened her property to the community during Historic Kenwood’s first Home & Garden tour.
