Bradenton, FL | Native Intracoastal

In the wake of Hurricane Helene’s devastation, the client dreamed of a landscape that would heal and thrive—rooted in the wild beauty of Florida’s native ecosystem. We reimagined the space as a living sanctuary, weaving together native groundcovers, shrubs, palms, and shade trees to invite pollinators back and restore balance to the land.

“Sara took a disaster yard (from Helene) and made it a native plant masterpiece yard. She's detail oriented and knows the plants. She created a beautiful design and we couldn't be happier. It's a commitment to do a native yard but it is so worth it. Everyone should be so lucky as to have Joewood, Lignum Vitae, and sweet Acacia in their landscape. And why in the world is anyone doing a grass yards?! Sunshine mimosa and frogfruit mixed ground cover is magical.”
